CHALLENGE
Clear assembly instructions are just as important as thoughtful product design, especially when your products are shipped to customers around the world. Over the years we’ve worked closely with Silen, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of premium office pods and acoustic workplace solutions, producing a growing library of assembly tutorial videos used by customers across more than 60 countries.
APPROACH
To date, the collaboration has resulted in more than twenty comprehensive build-along videos, each guiding customers through the complete assembly process from unpacking every component to the finished product. Designed for an international audience, our goal with every video is to combine clear demonstrations with animated graphics that can be easily localized into multiple languages while remaining intuitive regardless of the viewer’s experience.
Developing the format required far more than simply documenting an assembly process. Our team was responsible for everything from designing the visual language of the tutorials to production and post-production, continuously refining the workflow over years of collaboration. Multi-camera studio productions, lighting and well-planned shot sequences ensured every assembly step remained crystal clear while preserving the clean, premium aesthetic that defines the Silen brand.
OUTCOME
Today, these videos form an integral part of the customer experience, helping clients around the world assemble Silen products with confidence. Our collaboration with Silen has allowed us to continually improve the production process of instructional format videos. It has become one of our specialist areas within commercial video production.
